Ramadan has Come to a Close وداعا رمضان

Ramadan has come to a close and Eid-ul Fitr is just around the corner. I still can't believe how this Ramadan has went by so fast; its crazy.I hope that this holy month wasn’t too hard for any of you and that it was full of blessings.

Besides, I know that it's really easy to feel spiritual and connected in this holy month, as it is not just a temporary increase of religious practice, but also it is a glimpse of what you are capable of doing everyday during Ramadan. That doesn’t mean after Ramadan your prayers stop. That doesn’t mean reciting and reading of the Quran stops. That doesn’t mean your worship of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala stops. That doesn’t mean your Ibaadah stops. Ramadan has come to an end but that doesn’t mean that your strong faith has to end too. Remember all the effort and hard work you put in for this Ramadan to pass by smoothly. Treasure that and keep it going. And for those who didn’t really make the most of Ramadan as such. Don’t give up hope. You can always start praying, reciting and reading Quran. Just remember that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala is always forgiving . It’s not too late. :)

My thoughts and prayers goes especially to:

All our Muslim brothers and sisters who spent their Ramadan and going to spend Eid alone. Please remember that Allah sees you and knows your struggle. Do not ever give up!
To those who have to go to work or school on this special day of Eid, In Sha Allah it’ll all be worth it. May Allah preserve you and accept all your good doings. :)
To anyone who is a revert and is celebrating alone or fasting for the first time, GOOOD JOB!
To everyone with a dysfunctional family, a broken family or no family.
To everyone who's too tired to get out of bed and feels unworthy of happiness.
To everyone already fighting their demons.
To everyone in a war torn country, or nowhere near home.
To everyone who's celebrating Eid in a country that doesn't feel right.

I pray for you all. I know that Ramadan, Eid or any other special occasion where families come together, that it can take away from the peace and tranquility you have a right to experience. I pray that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala eases your difficulties, and brings you, your family, your loved ones and the whole world blessings, peace and happiness. You will get through this in Sha Allah. Just know that despite what you think you're not forgotten or isolated. The world will definitely be a very different place without you in it. :)  May Allah be always with you. Ameen!

Here are things to do on Eid as a sunnah:

1- Take a bath (Ghusl).
2- Wear your best clothes (for both men and women), and for the men to perfume themselves.
3-  Have an odd of dates before leaving for Eid prayer.
4- Attend the Eid prayer. Even if the women is not praying whether she is having Menstruation (Period) or anything similar, she is encouraged to come and attend but not pray if the Eid prayer is held in the 'musalla' but not in the Masjid.
5- Say the Takbeer till the Imam starts the Eid prayer.
6- Greet one another with good greetings (keep your beautiful smile on :) because it's sunnah.)
7- Take a different path home than the one you took to come to the prayer area.
8- Visit your family and your loved ones. If you cannot make it, call them.
9- Forgive yourselves and forgive each other. We only live once! :)

Oh! and Eid Mubarak! To those who celebrated today I hope you had a good day! And to those celebrating tomorrow or next week (just kidding) in Sha Allah your day goes well and it’s filled with peace and the blessings of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. In Sha Allah this day will be filled with happiness, joy, barakah and sweets. Remember to be kind to others and smile, it’s sunnah!

May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, dua'a and our good deeds. and may He grant us all of Ahl Al-Jannah. and may the blessings of Allah fill your life with happiness and open all the doors of success now and always.

Doodling/ Zentangle/ Madala Arts Q&A

According to Wikipedia, a   doodle  is a  drawing  made while a person's attention is otherwise occupied. Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be  abstract  shapes. ( This is an example of one of my doodles. March 2015) Q&A: X : Where do you get your inspiration to draw? You're incredible! What I mean by inspiration, I suppose, is how do you come up with the designs for these? Is there some creative process that you go through? I don’t really know! I always start off the basic shape in my head and work from there really but I usually make it up as I go along. Usually if I’m unsure if it’s going to look okay I just do it! Y : How do you draw your Mandalas? You're just perfect! Thank you! To grid your mandalas up before drawing,  I draw all the different circles using a compass in pencil then split it up into sections using a protractor and go ove...

My Hijab Story

Hello blog friends!    I just love it when people tell me that I was forced to wear Hijab. Thank you for telling me that. Oh!wait… I wasn’t forced, I chose.    People often think that Hijab is hiding a girl’s true beauty, and her most beautiful form is a secret treasure only to be witnessed by those privileged enough to see her in that state. It’s actually the opposite– you’re already seeing the polished diamond. As she ventures into the world, wearing her Hijab, she is a reflection of the strength and beauty of God. She is not hidden, but a manifest sign of His splendor for the whole world to see. And what can be more beautiful than His signs?    Both my parents come from very conservative families because their lineage belongs to the lineage of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his grandsons Hasan and Husain. Which literally makes my family a conservative and a religious one as well.     My eldest sister and I used to...
