Book review: Where Rainbows End by Cecelia Ahern If you haven’t read this book yet, but still want to, please stop reading! This review contains spoilers you, believe me, don’t want to know. But, before you go, I have to say: please do read this wonderful and somewhat tragic but also funny story.  Synopsis:  Rosie and Alex are destined for one another, and everyone seems to know it but them. Best friends since childhood, their relationship gets closer by the day, until Alex gets the news that his family is leaving Dublin and moving to Boston. At 17, Rosie and Alex have just started to see each other in a more romantic light. Devastated, the two make plans for Rosie to apply to colleges in the U.S.  She gets into Boston University, Alex gets into Harvard, and everything is falling into place, when on the eve of her departure, Rosie gets news that will change their lives forever: She’s pregnant by a boy she’d gone out with while on the rebound from Alex.  ...

Doodling/ Zentangle/ Madala Arts Q&A

According to Wikipedia, a   doodle  is a  drawing  made while a person's attention is otherwise occupied. Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be  abstract  shapes. ( This is an example of one of my doodles. March 2015) Q&A: X : Where do you get your inspiration to draw? You're incredible! What I mean by inspiration, I suppose, is how do you come up with the designs for these? Is there some creative process that you go through? I don’t really know! I always start off the basic shape in my head and work from there really but I usually make it up as I go along. Usually if I’m unsure if it’s going to look okay I just do it! Y : How do you draw your Mandalas? You're just perfect! Thank you! To grid your mandalas up before drawing,  I draw all the different circles using a compass in pencil then split it up into sections using a protractor and go ove...

I still can't believe how this Ramadan has went by so fast; its crazy.I hope that this holy month wasn’t too hard for any of you and that it was full of blessings. Besides, I know that it's really easy to feel spiritual and connected in this holy month, as it is not just a temporary increase of religious practice, but also it is a glimpse of what you are capable of doing everyday during Ramadan. That doesn’t mean after Ramadan your prayers stop. That doesn’t mean reciting and reading of the Quran stops. That doesn’t mean your worship of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala stops. That doesn’t mean your Ibaadah stops. Ramadan has come to an end but that doesn’t mean that your strong faith has to end too. Remember all the effort and hard work you put in for this Ramadan to pass by smoothly. Treasure that and keep it going. And for those who didn’t really make the most of Ramadan as such. Don’t give up hop...
