Assalamou alaykoum, Finally!! Ramadan is just a day away here in Morocco but it has already started today in many other countries. I'm so excited for Ramadan this year and I'm so thankful for making it through a full year in time for the next Ramadan. Al Hamdoulillah!    Ramadan is not only about starving ourselves for the respect of the poor, but also about teaching us the right, and preventing us from committing any sins. It teaches us to stay loyal and humble as well as staying positive. And most importantly it gives us a chance to get closer to Our Lord, to remember Him, to follow the right path and to leave behind the bad habits we are all used to do. In order to purify your soul, you need to cleanse your heart. The heart that is drowning in the sea of sorrow, fear, hatred, jealousy and every negative emotion.                                            It needs to be purified, needs to be free from all sorts of negative emotions. Negative emotions and negative thoughts consume you and your mind. Thus your heart, busy in the world of negativity doesn’t get a chance to cleanse itself. Let go of negative emotions.
