Why Do we Always Have to Hate?

Why do we always have to hate? Why is hate our first and last alternative? Why don’t we choose to make it look beautiful instead of making it look terrible, painful, and ugly? What do we think we’d gain by hating each other? Although we love beauty, we always tend to create mess, ugliness, and chaos. Why don’t we try to understand each other instead? Aren’t our hearts yearning for peace? Why do we hurt ourselves by making it more complicated than it already is? Negativity leads nowhere. If you’re looking for progress and change, always choose the path of righteousness. If you have a chance to make it right, do it before it’s too late. Just do it. Starve your ego, it has never been your friend. We all deserve peace, love, happiness and light. Everyone does. We were not born evil. We were born to make mistakes that one day we will end up deeply regretting and that same regret will lead us to learn how to love more, to forgive those who did us wrong, to grow and change for the better. But also to value time. To be conscious of our purpose in this world. We are constantly evolving, that’s life. We have to accept it. Let’s strive to be the best version of ourselves. And this will only happen when we choose to understand each other instead of judging, or assuming things that are not true, to reflect, and ponder on everything Allah blesses us with.

You were hurt, right? You were broken? You were betrayed? Use that rage, that love you never received, that peace you never felt and spread it all around. Be kind, help others, make people smile, make their day better, it might mean a lot. All these little things will make you feel better within yourself. Life is not about receiving, but giving. And believe me you will receive more than expected. Once you learn to love yourself, to master that love, you will find peace and contentment in your heart no matter what you get in return.

They judged you, right? They criticized you? They misunderstood you? They hate you? Fine. You do not live for others, your existence does not resolve around them. It is your life. You do not belong to people. You do not even belong to yourself. You belong to Allah and to Allah is our return. Your purpose is yours. Your fight is yours. Your destiny is yours. Your deeds are yours. Stop taking ‘constructive criticism’ from someone who hasn’t constructed anything. Fight for yourself, be better for yourself. Kill them with kindness, prove them wrong. Treat them better than they treat you. Be more genuine, wiser, and kinder. Choose peace over war for the sake of Allah. Every single day. And you will always be victorious in the eyes of Allah.

There is no secret to a happy and peaceful life. The ability to accept the good as much as the wrong, the courage to choose kindness over hatred and the willingness to act for the sake of Allah only, every day of your life. That is the true success of life.

Doodling/ Zentangle/ Madala Arts Q&A

According to Wikipedia, a   doodle  is a  drawing  made while a person's attention is otherwise occupied. Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be  abstract  shapes. ( This is an example of one of my doodles. March 2015) Q&A: X : Where do you get your inspiration to draw? You're incredible! What I mean by inspiration, I suppose, is how do you come up with the designs for these? Is there some creative process that you go through? I don’t really know! I always start off the basic shape in my head and work from there really but I usually make it up as I go along. Usually if I’m unsure if it’s going to look okay I just do it! Y : How do you draw your Mandalas? You're just perfect! Thank you! To grid your mandalas up before drawing,  I draw all the different circles using a compass in pencil then split it up into sections using a protractor and go ove...

My Hijab Story

Hello blog friends!    I just love it when people tell me that I was forced to wear Hijab. Thank you for telling me that. Oh!wait… I wasn’t forced, I chose.    People often think that Hijab is hiding a girl’s true beauty, and her most beautiful form is a secret treasure only to be witnessed by those privileged enough to see her in that state. It’s actually the opposite– you’re already seeing the polished diamond. As she ventures into the world, wearing her Hijab, she is a reflection of the strength and beauty of God. She is not hidden, but a manifest sign of His splendor for the whole world to see. And what can be more beautiful than His signs?    Both my parents come from very conservative families because their lineage belongs to the lineage of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his grandsons Hasan and Husain. Which literally makes my family a conservative and a religious one as well.     My eldest sister and I used to...

Ramadan has Come to a Close وداعا رمضان

Ramadan has come to a close and Eid-ul Fitr is just around the corner. I still can't believe how this Ramadan has went by so fast; its crazy.I hope that this holy month wasn’t too hard for any of you and that it was full of blessings. Besides, I know that it's really easy to feel spiritual and connected in this holy month, as it is not just a temporary increase of religious practice, but also it is a glimpse of what you are capable of doing everyday during Ramadan. That doesn’t mean after Ramadan your prayers stop. That doesn’t mean reciting and reading of the Quran stops. That doesn’t mean your worship of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala stops. That doesn’t mean your Ibaadah stops. Ramadan has come to an end but that doesn’t mean that your strong faith has to end too. Remember all the effort and hard work you put in for this Ramadan to pass by smoothly. Treasure that and keep it going. And for those who didn’t really make the most of Ramadan as such. Don’t give up hop...
