Ferme les yeux. Imagine.

Ferme les yeux. Imagine.

Doodling/ Zentangle/ Madala Arts Q&A

According to Wikipedia, a   doodle  is a  drawing  made while a person's attention is otherwise occupied. Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be  abstract  shapes. ( This is an example of one of my doodles. March 2015) Q&A: X : Where do you get your inspiration to draw? You're incredible! What I mean by inspiration, I suppose, is how do you come up with the designs for these? Is there some creative process that you go through? I don’t really know! I always start off the basic shape in my head and work from there really but I usually make it up as I go along. Usually if I’m unsure if it’s going to look okay I just do it! Y : How do you draw your Mandalas? You're just perfect! Thank you! To grid your mandalas up before drawing,  I draw all the different circles using a compass in pencil then split it up into sections using a protractor and go ove...

Every day during this month, Muslims around the world spend the daylight hours in a complete fast. Muslims are called upon to use this month to re-evaluate their lives in light of Islamic guidance. We are to make peace with those who have wronged us, strengthen ties with family and friends, do away with bad habits – essentially to clean up our lives, our thoughts, and our feelings. A reminder : "Here’s your yearly reminder that we are all ~Ramadan Muslims~ Before you start judging someone for suddenly becoming “more religious” this Ramadan, ask yourself when the last time you went to the mosque to pray for a couple hours right after you ate a giant dinner. Or when the last time it was that you avidly read your Qur’an. Or the last time you made so much dua. Or sacrificed sleep to pray more." The point of Ramadan is to recharge ...
